Boiled Egg & Black Pepper Soldiers - In Pictures

2 Eggs / Bread / Salted Butter / Black Pepper / Salt (1)

BOIL water in small pan

SPRINKLE in some salt

LOWER egg carefully into water so as not to crack it (2)

WATCH your timing as it is crucial

BOIL for five and a half minutes

REMOVE crusts from bread (3)

TOAST bread

PLACE butter on to toast and allow to melt (4)

DUST with plenty of black pepper (4)

REMOVE egg from water carefully

SLICE toast into soldiers

SMASH top of egg with spoon and remove

DIP soldiers in eggy goodness (5)
